Sept 29, 2025 · FDA
NMN is now lawful in dietary supplements.
The FDA reversed its 2022 position, concluding that NMN was marketed as a supplement in the US before its drug-investigation status — clearing the "race to market" test. The window for credible NAD+-precursor branded products is open.

Now · May 2026
Formulations locked, pitch ready, brand identity complete
Both blends finalized to ingredient/dose level. Investor pitch deck (4-min primary + 7-slide appendix) and brand system done. Self-contained research prompt suite ready for Perplexity Computer execution.
May – June 2026
Manufacturer onboarding & first production run
Lock GMP contract manufacturer. Pilot production with third-party COA testing (identity, potency, microbial, heavy metals). Decision gate: if production COGS exceeds 45% of target retail, re-evaluate formulation or pricing.
June – July 2026
Extended user-feedback pilot (50–100 participants)
Scale beyond internal testing. Standardize feedback on taste, mixability, perceived effects, daily-use friction. Distribution within Gen Z / millennial maximalist-optimizer segments via founder network + UMass-adjacent communities.
July – August 2026
Regulatory & legal review
Engage professional supplement formulation counsel. File NDI notification for NMN if required (post Sep-2025 FDA ruling). Finalize Supplement Facts panels, claim language, label compliance. This is the gate before any pre-sale.
August – September 2026
Pre-sale launch
Founder-led content roll-out, editorial outreach to longevity-credible publications, early-access list activation. Goal: ~250 paying pre-orders before first shipment.
September – October 2026
First shipping cohort & analysis
First orders fulfilled. Track month-one and month-two retention, NPS, qualitative feedback. Decision gate: continue scaling acquisition spend only if month-two retention crosses 60%.
